Was once petes old car,i got it,now giving it the lowride treatment.

for those of you who dont know ive got petes old monte carlo, obviously  :lol:  and i got stevies grand prix then put the two together.
heres what ive been upto ........
the pontiac gp

off came the body and added a new chainbridge




painted the frame in primer



black candy with orange metal flake



built the frame back up

Started to strip the car



Body comes off




Dressed up the engine



Painted under the body with white stonechip and layed the fuel and brake pipes on the frame




Orange underneath then laquered,started to sand down the body



Body goin back on

Started on the boot last week,got some metal ready for the pump rack,primered a few bits



Emma helped me with some welding

pumps


rear coils

got 10 batteries



Test fitting the batteries with cardboard templates and painted the boot silver


Latest parcel arrived yesterday,thanks to black magic

very, very impressive mate! 8)  so much work in a short time! cant wait to see the finished outcome!  8)  liked petes old car, looked well cool on those chequered mag rims, even down to the comedy interior retrim with artexed c pillars :lol:

Thanks voicey. Yeh the interior needs some work,doubt il get that fair this year so it will have to stay as it is which will be a let dont.
Painted the boot in orange and laquered over.Started on the battery trays.

Dunno why the pic looks pink but its definately orange.
