reckon its a keeper for the foreseable short term anyway, i love it already!!! i aint even given it any shit yet, dont feel the need, just nice to sit and gently cruise with some good tunes playing, (then occasionaly give it a blip and do one............. weeeeeeeaaaaaaawwwwwwww!!!) gets the looks as well

bit of tint on the glass, maybe polish the rims, fix the blemishes, relace the damaged chrome, clear rear lenses, and ise will be a happy bunny (until the fuel bill starts to kill me!!)

i know of a nice cheap place to get the exhaust done..ashley competition, walsall. he charged me £160 to do my 420. twin system.  try not to wear out the switch for 1st gear.. 8)  so much better than pullin away in second. took me ages to find that out..then i broke it.!

move the gearstick into low range, or 2.  You will then be able to move gearstick across.  This selects 1st gear...supposed to be for towing heavy loads down hill.. mercs pull away in second gear. a comfort thing.. it will kick down into first..easier to select it first though.   8) i used to use it every day, and eventually wore the switch out.  occaisionally would drop in and out of first when it was selected. not a huge problem though..

Guys.... i love this car, as steve said, never fails to bring a smile, its lovely low cruiser for pottering, but been driving it like an idiot over the last few days and killing some rubber, left some lovely smoke trails and roads marks in and around the neighbourhood now, and a lovely donut ring at the top of my road!! What a cock!!

sounds the bollocks as well with that roaring motor.......  :D  :D  :D
