lost count of how many I fitted over the years.
one broke and that was a bus three wheeling through the Santa Pod potholes.
they aren't designed to take the weight but 99.9% of the time they will with no problems

Was that regarding the front shock mount Fatdaddy??
I just spoke to the guy from red9 about this,as their setup relys on the bottom shock mount and he says its fine..
A little more weight on it if using hydros but should be fine :) :)
Also he said he can make me up a uniball rear suspension setup one off if i need it :)

it was.
red9 seem to be good from what I've seen

they just need to fit bags to their A Arm set up.................................................
Rears are straight forward, I was drawing up from A arm setups when I packed up Max a it was the obvious way to go.  :)

you need to fit bump stops at the height you set as minimum ..............................
same with air or hydro your minimum height is up to you but it is the height that the car/bus will drop to if things go wrong

I cant see where i would fit them to though..
Narrowed beams dont come with the extra support bracket to fit the bump stops to.

Sorry i seemed to miss this thread.

Simon r9d is good mate and i've spent many hours trying to persuade him to add those bags you (Iain) recommended to his products...... its not worked yet but i will carry on trying.

Hopefully when i can afford i will have the r9d a-arm set up on air on my 68 bay.

Iain do you remember the torpedo type accs that the fatboys in the 300c ripped apart?

The first ones fitted (torpedo type) had the diaphrams ruptured by the fatboy pumps.

Smooth and Crunchy quickly became Crunchy and Crunchy!
