well amazing how things can change in 7 months! were heading back to blighty end of november, via new zealand for a week and then california. we fly into l.a then driving to san diego, with a hop over the border to tijuana, then travelling up to vegas for christmas then accross to san fran for new year! (and some bullitt recreations in the hire car ) I love oz because of:*some of the wildlifethe weather the scenerythe beachescheap fuelshop workers etc loads more friendlycheap eating outold cars everywhereless working hoursthe fun of trashing a landrover on fraser islandcraig mcclaughlandanni minoguelocal hootershot chicks on the gold coast they sell fruit loops in the supermarketits like steve irwins still alivebut i hate oz because of:the rest of the wildlife (having a paralysis tick in your arm sucks )i dont like rock music or macho ball games its 30 years behind the rest of the worldwoeful health and safety at workwoeful standard of workwoeful workers rightswoeful expensive healthcare its illegal to do ANYTHING cool to your carozzies dont do nightlife very well, and pubs are cacksun goes down at 5 to 6 all year in queensland, they dont understand daylight savings in qld lolrednecks with guns queensland policewhen you live and work with them you realize theyre a pig ignorant bunchmissus having trouble, due to them not telling the difference between half jamaican and aboriginal ozziesshocking racism in generalexpensive food clothes etc also phone/internet bills rediculoushaving rednecks instead of chavs isnt any betterfinding out we have to invest many many more $1000's if i want to stay with the missus, its just not worth it.weve loved the experience and wouldnt change anything, oz is fantastic to visit just a shame its turned out to be not the place we want to live, ROLL ON CALI!!
