is this the ex-derrie cad ?
i'd be really interested to see this if it is as it was never built to hop [Adam "wanted to look after it".........but of course it moved way too good for that !! ] so will be good to see where it did suffer.

So that's where it has gone...........a good home by the looks of it. Good luck Chewy. The install was glorious. Are you going for a chassis wrap? If you need a slip yoke prop making up or g/box recon then speak to Andy Frost @ Penn Autos in Wolverhampton.

Full American g'box recon with tweaks comes in about £700 I think. Not cheap but it'll last the life of the car. My Impala now has a rebuilt TH400 which needed custom mounts and all bloody sorts.

Cool stuff Chew, the frame looks suprisingly flimsy considering the size of the car

very flimsy  ,,, the left rear leg is down about an inch and a half  , does,nt sound alot  but it woz enough to fully close the door gap up ,  its all in hand ,

That is some good teamwork going on there Chewy and crew. Nice to see that you make frame removal look so easy. So is the Cad bent to f**k? Are you jigging it and going for a full chassis wrap or finding a suitable replacement? This was always a really good honest car so it'll be good to see it return to full lowrider glory.

What's the plan Chew?
