Airride Technologies struts-Not Exactly Happy!!
« on: March 06, 2009, 01:13:29 AM »
When my PT started to make strange noises at the front and the ride was awful all of a sudden,i found the reason why...20,000 miles is all they've done, havn't pulled them down yet to see exactly what's gone as i've tried to contact them to see what they have to say and if i could send them back for them to at least  take a look at and tell me whay think?,each time i keep waiting for an answer but i've had no joy,,i used this company as i thought they had a good reputation but even when the kit came it seemed a bunch of all sorts just thrown together,i thought i should of had some sort of outcome and not kept getting fobbed off, total shite if you ask me very poor and dangerous too as the car veered across the road when summat broke,i guess you live and learn >:(

........... and Air RideTech probably are the best [USA wise anyway].
Returning stuff is a non starter anyway as you would have to pay the freight both ways anyway.
Possibly it can be rebuilt? as a one off.
Most things improve with age................

Not wishing to doubt you, but are you *sure* that's an RideTech product?

I've not seen any A.R.T. Shockwave strut with such a lower bag plate as that, they are all machined billet aluminium.

Looks more like a strut conversion using a Univeral Air Strut Bag.
