Thought I'd say Hi
« on: August 18, 2008, 08:14:02 PM »
Have been after a lowrider forum in the UK for ages. Went to Retro Rides gathering yesterday and saw some of the cars from here so thought I'd join as I need some advice.

This is my car that is currently under going restoration, new engine and drive train upgrades

Its a 1985 Mk1 Astra Van. As you can see it sits very low anyway. But this is the problem as its on lowered springs and shocks when I go to shows and put camping gear in the back it lowers it even more and scrubs the tyres.

So I'm thinking of getting air. Just want a simple system that I can adjust the front and rear with so I can make it sit right when I load it up and then drop it when I get to shows.

So my questions are is air my best option?
Who is the best to get it done by or can I source the parts from elsewhere (US) and then get them fitted? Would this work out cheaper?

Any advice welcome.
