Also right, if I took the ram off, how would I bleed the system through again and all that? There doesn't appear the be a resevoir or anything like that  :?:

You can tell I'm totally new ha.

you will loose some fluid so you will need some to top it up having a car on juice you will need fluid at some stage so go get some, the reservoirs are attached to the pumps/motor(the fatter bit).

To bleed, normally you leave the filler caps off the reservoirs over nights whilst the car is dumped.

[u:11h4lkf8]Don't crack any seals. or undo [i:11h4lkf8]anything[/i:11h4lkf8] whilst the system is under pressure. ie raised[/u:11h4lkf8]

Right theres fittings tapped into the fat bit of the pumps, and then hose going into a frikkin glass jar. Is that supposed to be my resevoir?! Thre hoses are just loose in the jar and there's a tiny bit of fluid in there.

The reservoirs are the fat bits of the pump, one end of the hose is in a glass jar? where is the other end attached to.

Is the install still the same as in the above pic? Rayvern used some fluid disbursement thingy in your car but i'm sure that didn't include jam jars.

i will guess that the jars are catch tanks. US pumps have sealed tanks, Ray uses his own and they have breather caps which is bette for the pump seals but can blow oil mist if the slow downs are set high [fast].

a "pump" is four items all in one.

the centre block [has valves built into it and willk be bolted down to the car]
the tank [usually black] on one end of the block.
the motor [on the other end of the block]
the pumphead [inside the tank and bolted to the centre block]

just call Ray and he will sort the ram for you.
Most things improve with age................

And whilst the ram leaks and I find somewhere to sort it.. would it be a good idea to find somewhere to top up the pumps?
