pics of Six-Four's 64 X frame wrap
« on: March 04, 2008, 02:44:47 PM »
hello well its taken me a while so here is a tease  8) from start to finnish i dont know how to put the pics on
i hope this works

the first couple are during the work and last are the last pictures of cleanup

well after i got it i removed the metal from the last one to work on it.  i cleaned it up and welded the frame some more.
using old pieces i made templets.  i used up what i could from what was there it fit and was close to shape so why not
i took piece off the centre of the x and reinforced inside and put a piece of the plate back on then the giant X piece that i recut to the templet i had made.  then just started covering it from bottom then sides leaving a large gap between plates to get good strong weld on all metal then fixed a big dent in the belly and plated put box tubing in the rearend.  i plated it and welded her up flipped her over    and did it on the other side worked making it all look fuq n beautiful cleaned all welds down made every piece of metal touch metal show quality for a show man :D

and thats it what does ya'll think 8)

Wow - even though it's cost me dearly (don't let anyone tell you chassis wraps can be done quickly!) Rocky has done an amazing job of the wrap. It's now so good that I feel it has to be metalflaked and shown to the world.....14" chrome rear rams are the answer.

yeah that's all going on at my Workshop...

the photo's really don't do the work justice, the amount of time, effort and skill that Rocky has put into this job is mind blowing!!
