Pics of the project... SL350 1974

Theres alot of work to be done. But i think it will look amazing fully slamed on some chrome wires..

Getting some us style quad headlights custom made :)

Its got the hard top on in this pic but its obvioulsy soft top under that. Im thinking candy purple paint with cream and purple leather.. 8)  gota put a new soft top on to match the paint so im thinking i might trim the inside of the hood in pasley or somthing mad like that ;0

Oh yessss!!! 3.5 V8!!! Before petrol hits £2.00 a litre i gota have 1.. my first v8 actually. the air intake is chrome already though it needs some polishing but i got a braided hose kit and some crhome rocker covers going in to get thing looking a bit more bling

Thanks for the imput guys. yo chewy i was having a look at you chevy astro i like the interior, i had a guy quote me £1000 for the full leather trim but i seen his work and its good but not perfect. PM me with a contact for your guy woudnt mind getting a quote off him. Is he anywhere near London?

Should get some more pics of the restoration up later. My uncles doing the job for me he specialises in classis merc restoration. If any ones won the lottery recently i know hes got a 62 4 seat SL roadster maunal, a 300 gullwing and pagoda top up for grabs ill try and get some pics.

30 years has taken its toll on the SL




We cutting out all the rusty areas (which there are alot of) and rebuilding it with sheet metal. From whats been being explained to me the chassis corode from the inside so it has to be cut and oil sprayed inside..

hey mate, lovin your plans! i love w107 sl's, just im lanky so look comical trying to fit in one  :lol: mmm a u.s spec 560sl with chocolate leather........ :twisted:  lovin those rims on it, are they old lorinsers? 8)
